The “Fox” forest group has its own group room in WoKi 1, which is only used during drop-off and pick-up times and for free play and educational activities in the event of bad weather. The children in the Fox group have a leased plot of land in the directly adjacent forest area at their disposal. There is a heated trailer there for eating meals when the outside temperature is colder, but it can also be used by the children as a place to rest and retreat.

The Fox group currently offers up to 20 places for children aged 3 to school age. KiKu is pleased to be able to offer families a care service that promotes children’s closeness to nature and environmental awareness and supports and accompanies them in the development of important personal skills (e.g. motor skills, resilience). The children can explore the forest with all its diverse impressions. They learn about nature, to respect it and, at the same time, internalize the annual cycle.
